Why This Site Exists

If you've ever searched for game redeem codes, you know the experience: click a site, copy a code, paste it into the game, and get "Invalid Code." Repeat five times. Give up. Wonder why you wasted 10 minutes.

Most "redeem code" sites are content farms. They scrape codes from wherever, never test them, and publish lists that are 80% expired or fake. They rank because they publish fast — not because they publish anything useful.

RealGameCodes is the opposite. Every code on this site is manually verified before publication. If a code doesn't work when we test it, it doesn't go on the site. If a previously working code expires, we mark it as expired within 24 hours. This approach is slower than scraping, but it means you don't waste your time on fake codes.

How We Verify Codes

Verification isn't automated — it can't be. Each game has its own redemption system (in-game menu, website portal, gift code page), and automated tools can't reliably test whether a code actually grants rewards. Here's our process:

  1. Source monitoring: We track official game social media accounts, Discord servers, livestreams, and patch notes for new code announcements. No third-party aggregators — we go to the source.
  2. Manual testing: A human logs into the game (or the official redemption website) and enters the code. We check whether the rewards are actually received.
  3. Server/region labeling: Some codes only work on specific servers (NA, EU, Asia) or platforms (iOS, Android, PC). We label these clearly so you don't waste time on codes that won't work for your account.
  4. Expiry tracking: We re-check codes weekly. If a code stops working, it's moved to the expired section with the date it was last confirmed working.

Who Runs This

I'm Aion Ren, a developer and gamer based in Chengdu, China. I've been playing gacha games, RPGs, and mobile titles for over a decade. I built RealGameCodes because I was tired of the same bad experience everyone has with code sites — and because I had the technical skills to build something better.

RealGameCodes is one of several sites I operate under Aion Media. Others include Yulong Guides (game strategy guides) and QingChuan Toolbox (free online tools).

What We Cover (and Don't)

We focus on games with official redeem code systems — where the publisher intentionally releases codes for player rewards. We cover 53 games across HoYoverse, Roblox, mobile RPGs, strategy games, and shooters.

We do not publish: hacked codes, leaked codes from data mines, codes obtained through exploits, or codes for private servers. Every code on this site comes from an official source and is intended for public use by the game's publisher.

Keeping Codes Fresh

Game codes expire — that's the nature of the system. Our commitment is to keep the active/inactive status accurate. The "Last Updated" date on every game page tells you when codes were last verified. If you spot a code that's stopped working, tell us and we'll re-verify within 24 hours.
